For more information, see our [BriefCatch Next Centralized Deployment guide](https://support.briefcatch.com/home/enterprise/briefcatch-next/deployment-installation?hsLang=en). ### Self Install Instructions To install BriefCatch Next, click the below link, then the **Open in Word** button. **[Install BriefCatch Next for Word](https://express.briefcatch.com/installation-instructions)** This will open Word and install BriefCatch Next for you automatically. After clicking the Open in Word button, you may receive a prompt to confirm the installation. If access to the store is disabled and you're unable to install BriefCatch Next, or other add-ins, please see [BriefCatch Next: Store or Add-ins are blocked, unable to install](https://support.briefcatch.com/home/technical-troubleshooting/briefcatch-next-store-add-ins-blocked?hsLang=en) for more information. Alternatively, you can visit the [BriefCatch Next Marketplace page](https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA200009535?tab=Overview), then click **Get it now**. #### Store Installation Search for BriefCatch Next in the AppSource/Marketplace store within Word by navigating to Home - Add-ins, then click on More Add-ins.  Depending on your Word version, the instructions vary slightly. If you’re unsure which version you’re using, please see [What version of Word am I using?](https://support.briefcatch.com/home/enterprise/briefcatch-next/resolve-issues-faqs?hsLang=en#what-version-word-are-we-using) **Word Versions 2505+** Check the “Manage your apps” link in the bottom left to see if BriefCatch Next appears here. If so, click on the icon, then on Open.  ![briefcatch-next-manage-apps](https://support.briefcatch.com/hs-fs/hubfs/briefcatch-next-manage-apps.png?width=670&height=357&name=briefcatch-next-manage-apps.png) If BriefCatch Next is not in this list, in the “Search apps and more” box, search for BriefCatch. Click on the BriefCatch Next result, then click on Add or Open. ![briefcatch-next-app-search](https://support.briefcatch.com/hs-fs/hubfs/briefcatch-next-app-search.png?width=670&height=320&name=briefcatch-next-app-search.png) **Please Note:** Make sure to select **BriefCatch Next** from the search results, as shown above. The older BriefCatch app is still visible and will remain active temporarily, but will eventually be retired. **Word Versions Prior to 2505** Check the My Add-ins and Admin Managed tabs to see if BriefCatch Next appears here. If so, click on the icon, then on Add.  If not, click on the Store tab, then search for BriefCatch, and click Add or Open. ### Word Online (Word for Web) Installation Instructions You can install BriefCatch Next directly from Microsoft Word Online (Word on the Web). To start, navigate to Word Online and open any document. From the Home tab in the Word Online ribbon, click on Add-ins, then More Add-ins: ![word-online-more-addins](https://support.briefcatch.com/hs-fs/hubfs/word-online-more-addins.png?width=576&height=337&name=word-online-more-addins.png) In the search box, enter BriefCatch, then click on the BriefCatch Next app in the search results. ![briefcatch-next-app-search](https://support.briefcatch.com/hs-fs/hubfs/briefcatch-next-app-search.png?width=670&height=320&name=briefcatch-next-app-search.png) Click Get it Now or Add (this will say Open if it’s already installed) ![briefcatch-next-word-online-add](https://support.briefcatch.com/hs-fs/hubfs/briefcatch-next-word-online-add.png?width=670&height=529&name=briefcatch-next-word-online-add.png) If prompted, click "Trust this add-in" or "Allow and  Continue." to complete the installation. If installed correctly, you will now see the BriefCatch icon in the Home tab in the Word ribbon. ### Accounts & Authentication After BriefCatch Next is installed, it will appear under the Home tab in the Word ribbon.
