Is BriefCatch 2 still available?

BriefCatch 2 support ended on December 31, 2022. All users will get a free upgrade to BriefCatch 3, our acclaimed SaaS-managed product with a brand-new UI and all the latest features and edits! If you have any questions, please contact our support team for assistance with updating to the latest version of BriefCatch.


Does this mean BriefCatch 2 will stop working?

No. All installations of BriefCatch 2 will continue to work. But we will no longer be providing updates to the BriefCatch 2 software, including bug or security fixes.


Can I still download BriefCatch 2?

No. BriefCatch 2 is no longer supported. We suggest updating to BriefCatch 3 or BriefCatch Standalone.


How can I update to BriefCatch 3?

You can install BriefCatch 3 from the Microsoft AppSource store. See our BriefCatch 3 update guide for more information.


Any user with an existing BriefCatch 2 license can update to BriefCatch 3 at no additional cost!


We have an enterprise/company account. How can we update?

BriefCatch 3

All enterprise clients can update to BriefCatch 3 at no additional cost. Please review the documentation found on the BriefCatch portal for more information on how your organization can update to BriefCatch 3.

BriefCatch Standalone

BriefCatch Standalone is also available for enterprise clients. BriefCatch Standalone is the latest version of our locally installed software and can be installed as an update on top of your existing BriefCatch 2 installation. There is no need to uninstall the previous version.
